Ms. Kimberly Chan

Kimberly Chan is a dynamic business executive with over fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Throughout her career, she has successfully led strategic HR functions while also building expertise across accounting, health and safety, communications, and organizational development.

Kimberly currently serves as Head, Human Resources & Business Partnerships at Caribbean Information & Credit Rating Services Limited (CariCRIS), where she leads shared services and drives people-focused business strategy. Her extensive career spans multiple industries, including education, financial services, manufacturing, retail, and oil & gas, with experience at both local and regional levels. She has also provided consultancy services to organizations across diverse sectors.

Academically accomplished, Kimberly holds an MBA (General) from the UK and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, and has earned several diplomas along with over fifty (50) professional certifications in areas such as HR, Accounting, Leadership, Psychology, Law, Project Management, and Information Technology.

She is currently pursuing her PhD.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Kimberly is an active contributor to national and regional development. She currently serves as a Director of the National Centre for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) and has held several influential board positions, including:

  • Vice-President and Chair of the Editorial Committee of the Human Resource Association of T&T (HRMATT)
  • Board Director of the Caribbean Institute of Human Resource Management (CaIRM)
  • Director and Chair of the Membership and Human Resources Committees at the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI)

She has also contributed to the Human Resources, Trade & Investment, and Finance Committees of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Guyana.

A respected thought leader, Kimberly has authored numerous articles published locally and regionally and is a sought-after speaker on business, leadership, and advocacy. She has also lectured in Human Resources, Management, Leadership, Sales, and Entrepreneurship, helping to shape the next generation of professionals.

Deeply committed to service, Kimberly is an avid volunteer with over ten (10) years of dedication to causes focused on children, education, and the environment. She is an active member of several professional associations, including the Society of People Analytics, Association of Business Executives (ABE), Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute (CCGI), Association of Female Executives of T&T (AFETT), Caribbean Society of HR Professionals (CSHRP), SPOTT, and HRMATT.

In addition to her professional and volunteer work, Kimberly has represented Trinidad and Tobago in several local and international beauty pageants. In 2018, she was honored with the Gold Key to Cebu City, Philippines, awarded by the Mayor.

She is also widely recognized for her advocacy in health initiatives and for leading impactful recycling and sustainability projects within organizations.
