Research

NCPD notes that nationally there is a paucity of data with regards to persons with disabilities which has impeded the ability to effectively lobby for policy changes and assistance for this marginalized group.

Therefore in order to assist our own advocacy efforts, NCPD sought to undertake research in this largely unexplored field but due to inadequate funding had to abort the project.

Hopefully if funding is made available in the coming year, the project will be undertaken.
